Binh Ba is a small island located in the south of Cam Ranh Peninsula, 60km from Nha Trang city in Khanh Hoa Province. Like other beautiful islands in amazing coastal city of Nha Trang, Binh Ba is featured with white sandy beach, charming scenery and cool weather. However, the island is special for delicious seafood found only in this place – lobster.

Get in

It is easy to get in Binh Ba Island from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. You can travel by any means of transport to Cam Ranh Station. From Cam Ranh station, visitors can catch a taxi or motorcycle taxi to go to Ba Ngoi Port and then take a boat to Binh Ba Island. It takes you about onehour and a half to reach to Binh Ba. There are three boat trips departing at 10am, 13:30 pm and 16pm.

What to see and do

Binh Ba Island is featured with 3 stunning beaches including Chuong Beach, Nom Beach and Old House Beach. They are all pristine, quiet and charming with blue water, pure clean sand stretch and attractive surroundings. Chuong Beach is an ideal site for seeing beautiful sunrise. Nom Beach is impressive with the spreading white sand. Old House Beach is famous for the clear water and the poetic surrounding landscape. This is am extremely suitable place for some interesting activities such as snorkeling and scuba diving, catching seafood and especially, seeing the coral reefs and the colorful species of fish under the sea.

The island also attracts by its beautiful landscapes, including large stone areas, rocky cliffs and mountains on the island and wonderful coral reefs in underwater. You can also visit fishing village and temples and pagodas in here.

And the most special thing in Binh Ba is lobster. Lobster in Binh Ba is so famous that people call it “the island of lobster”. Lobster is reared by the local and becomes one of the most famous seafood in Cam Ranh. Coming to Binh Ba, you have to try these fresh and delicious and super cheap lobsters. You can buy fresh lobsters from floating houses of the locals and make a BBQ party on the beach. Grilled lobster is a very tasty and wonderful food, especially when you enjoy it on the beach. Besides, there are a lot of other seafood on the island such as squid, fish, various species of selfish, etc.
