Hon Rom is actually the name of a small mountain located in Mui Ne ward, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province. It is a natural beauty with mountains embracing the beaches, yellow sand dunes stretching to green coconut lines.

The beaches in Hon Rom still remain untouched and fresh attraction of pure nature. The sea water is incredibly pure and turquoise and has no reef. The waves are gentle and the long sand stretch of 17km is smooth and clean. Hon Rom 1, Hon Rom 1, Thuy Trang are well-known beaches in Hon Rom which is perfect to swim and sun bathing. Bai Sau Hon Rom is a spectacular destination for watching sunset, sunrise and camping at night.

Near the beaches is a mountain with stunning sceneries. You can climb to it to see multi-shaped stones, different rare plants, including a lot of species of cactus and a fresh cool air. Especially, Hon Rom has a sand hill with featuring yellow sand of Mui Ne stretching from mountain to the beach. You can try sand surfing from the peak of the hill to the beach. It is a very wonderful feeling.

Gentle waves and suitable wind speed are also ideal conditions for beach sports in Hon Rom. You can join surfing, snorkeling, kitesurfing, Jet Ski, etc.

You can join fishing with local fishermen in their boat by night. It is an interesting experience to stay at night on a fishing boat, become a sailor and feel the life at night on ocean.
