Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2015 will be held from April 29^th to May 3^rd with the theme “The quintessence of Vietnamese crafts” aiming to honor a lot of traditional crafts of Vietnam.

In the 6^th Hue Traditional Craft Festival, 11 traditional crafts with more than 40 craft villages will be participated, both in ThuaThien Hue Provinces and other areas such as Hanoi, BacNinh, Ha Giang, Hoi An, etc. A lot of traditional crafts such as palm-leaf conical hats, paper flowers, lanterns, silver and gold jewelry, and embroidery will be introduced.

The festival will be took place at the street lying along Huong River in Hue City. Especially, a lot of tours to visit craft villages in ThuaThien Hue Province will be operated. And various activities will be held, including fashion shows on brocade products, exhibitions on traditional crafts, competition on some traditional crafts in schools, meetings and ceremonies to honour artisans, seminars and street festivals.
