Ha Tien is a small town of Kien Giang province, in Mekong River Delta region of southern Vietnam. This town is the last mainland of Vietnam, adjoining to gulf of Thailand with 22km of coast line. The combination of beautiful natural landscapes and historical cultural places makes Ha Tien attract a huge number of tourists every year.
Here are top 10 destinations that you cannot miss when you visit Ha Tien.

1.    Thạch Dong Cave

Thach Dong Cave is a giant-80m-high rock standing on an exposed area. From the middle of the rock, you can see the whole view of Ha Tien town and a part of Cambodia. Under the rock is a large and tall cave with many multi-shaped stalactites. Especially, there is an old Buddha temple named Tien Son inside the cave. Thach Dong is not only famous for its beauty, but also for legend about Vietnamese hero Thach Sach saving princess.

2.    Da Dung mountain (Núi Đá Dựng)

Da Dung Mountain is located in Mi Duc commune, 6km from Ha Tien town. The mountain also has another name “Chau Nham”, meaning “the mountain of pearl”. The base of this name is that this mountain has a kind of stalactite sparkling like pearls.

Da Dung mountain is featured by varied attractive caves, including Me Sanh cave, Bong Lai cave, Trong Nguc cave, Lau Chuong cave, Kim Quy cave, Kho Qua cave, Chi Huy cave,… Each of them has their own charm and occult, making you feel like walking in Wonderland.
Moreover, this mountain is also a historical relic – an important strategic base in the war.

3.    Hon Chong (Spike Mountain)

The special thing about Hon Chong is Father and Son Mountain (Hon Phu Tu) and emotional humane story about the father and his child together defeating the sea monster to protect their village. Hon Chong also has stunning beaches such as Bai Duong and Bai Dau as well as a ancient temple called Hang temple. Many people considered Hon Chong as “Ha Long Bay” of southern Vietnam.

Mui Nai beach lies on the west about 5km of Ha Tien Central. It is the most beautiful beach in Kien Giang province. The beach has some notable differences from other beaches in the Central region: the sand is not pure white but dark brown and the water is dark blue. The reason is this beach is covered by a layer of mud which is very healthy for our skin. You can both mudbath and swim in gentle waves. Besides, a fishing village nearby is a perfect place to discover and enjoy sea foods.

5.    Bai No beach (Bãi Nò)

7.    Dong Ho lake

8.    Tam Bao temple

9.    Xa Xia temple

Xa Xia temple is located in My Duc commune, Ha Tien town. This is a Khmer temple with unique and fantastic architecture style. The temple is cultural central of local Khmer community and also the place to hold annual Khmer festivals.
