Situated in Soc Son District, Noi Bai international airport is the biggest airport in the northern region of Vietnam. Here you can easily take taxies, motorbikes or buses to go about 40 kilometers to the inner city.
Tourist attractions: Hanoi is often remembered as something so called “city of lakes”. As its name tells, the city is surrounded by a lot of lakes. Among these, Hoan Kiem lake (or Sword lake) and West lake (hồ tây) are truly unforgettable symbols of an ancient and inspirational city. Both of them are famous for historical and cultural significance to the Vietnamese people.
